Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Age Requirements

By accessing or using Worzup (the "Service"), you represent and warrant that you are at least sixteen (16) years of age. The Service is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 16.

If you are a resident of a jurisdiction where the age of digital consent is higher than 16, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirements in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information without appropriate legal authorization, we will take immediate steps to delete that data and terminate the associated account.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You may register using:

• Username & password — you must also provide a valid email address, which must be verified before you can access the Service.
• Google Sign-In — your Google account email will be used as your primary email.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your login information with others.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of language learning. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts.
• Use the Service to generate or distribute harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Abuse the AI-powered features (e.g., making excessive automated requests).
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

4. AI-Generated Content

Worzup uses AI (powered by OpenAI) to generate language learning content including word definitions, example sentences, grammar notes, and quiz questions. This content is generated automatically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service (e.g., notes, custom word lists, bundles). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Service Tiers and Credits

The Service offers different usage tiers with varying levels of AI credit allowances. We reserve the right to modify tier features, pricing, and credit allocations with reasonable notice.

7. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting privacy@worzup.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service's availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Worzup and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
